There are plans to extend the Quarry

The Parish Council has circulated a letter asking for views with regards an application to extend the Pury End quarry to the other side of the road. Several residents have already registered objections as follows:

1. Additional noise
2. Additional dust
3. Additional traffic
4. Visual impact of the quarrying

Please note that the County council have estimated that the new quarry would be able to use existing machinery etc. This is incorrect as the new quarry would be a totally seperate company.

If you have any comments please write to the county council as soon as possible, we have until 13th December. Their email address is planning@northamptonshire.gov.uk

Remember, this could have a serious, long term impact on our lives. PLEASE taken an interest. Please email the council if you have any objections.
